Become an Alchemist
CHAOS, as a community organization, is built upon volunteers. For members who have gone above and beyond for the club, CHAOS offers a special “Alchemist” status.
To give back to our most involved members, CHAOS provides each Alchemist with:
- One free storage spot in the brewhouse for grain, equipment, or whatever you would like.
- One free guest to each of our quarterly events (guest must be at least a website member)
How to become an Alchemist
Alchemists are members that have volunteered on multiple projects for years. They help maintain the club brewhouse, produce seasonal tasting events, and keep every aspect of CHAOS running and growing. To qualify as an Alchemist you are expected to advance by managing teams and leading projects, and you must have sustained involvement each year to retain your status.

You can quickly become an Alchemist by making big contributions, or you can show steady involvement over the years.

NOTE: Any of these requirements may be waived by the board in recognition of some other service to the club.
Alchemist Application
Each year, those seeking Alchemist status present their qualifications and accomplishments for Alchemist status to the board for approval. Approval of Alchemist status by the board will occur during the April election meeting.
Most members will not be able to fulfill all the requirements. If, however, you have gone above any beyond in a couple categories you may still be a qualified candidate.
NOTE: You must be a Friend, Apprentice, or Brewer level member for at least one year to apply.
