Our Spring tasting event will feature homebrew beer, tacos, and a live band covering some of your favorite songs as we celebrate the coming of summer. As with every CHAOS event, the vibes will be chill and the provisions top notch.

The event will feature 3 competitions that show off homebrew prowess and culinary skill – 2 beer competitions and a salsa competition. For the beer competitions, we’ve once again partnered with our friends at the Perch in Wicker Park to scale up the winning recipes.

Summer Beer Showdown: Light ales and lagers – with some fruited examples – will face off for a summer scale up at the Perch. This will be judged by a panel of BJCP judges with Preston Mick, Head Brewer at the Perch, selecting the winner.

Kettle Sour Comp: lightly soured, fruited and/or cocktailed delights from CHAOS whimsical thinking brewers, these beers will be judged by the crowd and then selected by Preston for a scale up later this year.

Salsa Competition: A throwdown of heat, sweet, green, red, or any way you make the salsas you love. Contact franklin@chaosbrewclub.net to enter.
